Weekend Reflections

While visiting our daughter last week Hubs and I visited some old places we knew when we lived in the Tidewater region of Virginia. We had gone to look at the dismantling of a drawbridge and had to stop at a crossing for an approaching train. The train was moving forward and reversing and I was trying to get a shot of the engine. Upon flipping through the photos to see if I should keep shooting I noticed the reflection in the rearview mirror. The reflection is the railroad bridge in the up position that trains use to cross the river that was behind us.
Train and railroad bridge - a perfect combo and I couldn't have been more pleased.

You're right this is a perfect combo. You have a good eye for photography. It's also nicely framed by the car window and the telephone pole.

Reflections and more reflections, they are everywhere! Very cool bridge in that mirror! I posted a side-mirror reflection last week. I found that by accident too.

Hi Carletta, Isn't it amazing what we sometimes get when taking a picture???? You captured a fabulous shot of the drawbridge--without even knowing it... WOW--I love it...

Hugs,
Betsy

Cool beans - even if it was by mistake! LOL! It has all the right elements in it! Some of my best reflections have been from the sideview mirror of our truck!

A three-in-one shot! Marvelous capture.

I would call that two shots in one...and each without the other does not equal the sum of the two together.
