Weekend Reflections

'See the USA in your Chevrolet'

If you're of my generation you probably remember Chevrolet's slogan during the 50's and 60's. It was a catchy little commercial jingle sung by Dinah Shore.
In the photo you can see the rim of my Hubby's Chevrolet S10 Pickup reflected in a melted snow puddle. Look closely and you will also notice the bright blue sky that day is also reflected in the rim and the reflection. I thought the double reflection was pretty cool. I only wish that tire was a bit cleaner. Ah, so much for country living!

I remember the slogan Carletta. This reflection is super. It looks as though it was etched into the ground. A little dab will do ya. Remember that one? Brylcreem.

I never heard the commercial, but this is a shot they could use in an ad! Love the blue sky reflection, it adds color!

I have never heard this slogan, but I remembedr having seen one or two of these "ships" (we called them) because they were so very big compared to European cars !

The dullness of the tire's rubber contrasts nicely with all of the reflections.

Love this one! I have a Chevy Uplander and wouldn't trade it for the world. Plus, my dogs would never forgive me if I did.
