Most refreshing RUBY post! Luv the Haiku too. I've shared my Ruby Post at Small Reflections ... still watching TENNIS of course ;--) Hugs and blessings,
Ohhhhh that is a YUMMY ruby! I forgot it was Tuesday today... LOL! Ya know...I MIGHT have saved that for my "something cold"... but maybe not... It sure looks good and cold though! AND red! :)
Oh my that is one yummy picture!!! Love how you capture the red cherry! YUM YUM!! Have a Lovely♥Day!! to view my Ruby Tuesday go to my blog www.365daysofourlife.com
This looks like a warm weather treat, not just thirst quenching, but an attractive treat as well. Cherries qualify as rubies, but we may be left with this quandary: Do we take care of our thirst or qualify this drink as a work of art and just admire it??
This is tooooo funny! Somehow my blog ended up on Webdings font -- which on my computer shows letters - and apparently on all my other readers today... except you. You must have been seeing "dings"... I'm SOOOOOO sorry! I did change the font... so if you want to come read my insignificant post, you may! Please don't feel obligated though! LOL!
Hi Carletta, this is a neat drink. We have bunches of Sonic's around here, guess I'll have to try one.
I like your poem. Right away it reminded me that next Sunday at One Single Impression the group is writing poems using the prompt word, THIRST. I have been working on mine, we start putting them up on Sunday of the week.
This week the prompt word was ROMANCE. Mine is on my Little Photo and Poem Place blog. There is a link at the bottom to the OSI group. About 45 have signed in with poems on the Mrs. Linky. Several, including me, haven't written too many poems before. You would be welcome. ..

Those are fire engine reds - a powerful pic.
Beautiful reds and oranges you found in this cherry slush. I like the angle and depth you captured with the straw.
I just read your comment on my blog. What are you doing blogging at 1:49 AM? Eeek.
Happy Ruby Tuesday Carletta!
Darn...now you've got me craving a cherry limeade.
So sweet! :D

I have no idea what a cherry Sonic slush is, but it looks tempting. Lovely red image.
ROFL! WHAT were all the question marks for on my blog??? I'm sO confused!
Delicious reds today! Happy week.
Oh yum! I want one. I need one. How far is it from Israel to the nearest Sonic?
Looks good! I forgot it was Tuesday.... People are hammering and pounding and doing strange things to my house. Making great progress, though.
Sounds good to me! And it is not even blistering hot here.
That's the kind of ruby that makes my mouth water!

that is beautiful!
the color is wonderful
Carletta: Wow, that looks good on a hot day.
MMMMM that looks so refreshing. :( We don't have a Sonic up here, but when I go to Texas we usually go to one.
I love Sonic! I'm there almost every day, but I've had to go to diet drinks and less heavy (er...fattening), foods.
Great pic! I love the little ice cubes at Sonic :)
Mmmm - that does look good!...and of course it is red :)
Love cherries, especially with chocolate! But this looks good, even without.

Great pic for R.T. thanks for sharing.
Red and do look good, from me that have the sunflowers peeking over the fence... MB
That really looks COOL and refreshing even though it's a HOT red colour!
I like the contrast of textures here. Very creative choice of subjects.
Aluring photo and text--I can just TASTE that slush!
Love your header photo, too.
