Both shots are straight out of the camera.
I think this will be the last of my Rose of Sharon blooms for this summer. The little fawns nibbled off quite a few buds; but I've enjoyed both the deer and the blooms that made it!
And for those of you still waiting - at least one baby pic tomorrow - I'm still working in veggies!

Oh, gorgeous Rose of Sharon - such a pure white colour! Do you freeze and can your extra veggies?
Both lovely. Flowers were sparce here this year...and of course my "garden" just grows wild with no love and care at all, poor neglected yard.
Welcome back! You have been missed! Though in all honesty my blogging has been very hit and miss lately.
These shots are lovely, as well as the one with all your vegies!
really beautiful
a very elegant flower
love the shadows within the folds of the petals
Excellent my friend. Very well done. So soft and pretty :)
Love the mystical white of this rose! Lovely photos!
Veggies always come first! They won't wait like us very patient bloggers.
Just gorgeous! I love Rose of Sharon. I miss the pink ones I had at my last house. Maybe I will buy one for here soon. Good idea! I love the white, too. Have fun in the veggies.
Magnificent photo.
Beautiful! Love the light you captured. And look at those veggies in the next post! Delicious.
Amazing shots, Carletta!
Simple but beautiful.
What a beautiful white blossom. I'm glad the deer left some flowers for you to enjoy.
The rose is beautiful and you did a good job taking it...
A lovely shot.
Beautiful shots. I love the white rose of sharon.
great macro shot! I love the color..
I love the angle on the second shot. The white light and white rose make it perfect.
They are simply gorgeous!
That's really beautiful! I thought it was a hibiscus at first. I've never seen a Rose of Sharon that colour. :)
So dainty and pretty!
Love the White Flower
Great Capture!
I LOVE white flowers, they always remind me of crisp white sheets for some reason!! You call them Rose of Sharon, while we call them Hollyhocks. Beautiful macro!
Okay! So that's what that plant is called! I took several photos of two of these, at separate locations. On Sunday, I think it was. One had a perfect monarch butterfly sucking its nectar and I photographed it. That'll be for Camera Critters on Saturday!
I have to get one of these Rose of Sharron bushes for my garden! Lovely!
Love the first shot!
Wow! So white! Truly lovely!
