Soon you'll be dark and sweet
Cobbler and Ice Cream.
Ah, the sweet taste of blackberry cobbler! I can hardly wait to put the dough and berries in the pan and smell the sweet aroma spreading through the house as it bakes to a light golden brown. When it's time to remove it from the oven I'll let it sit just long enough to let the flavors mingle and cool just a tad bit as my Mom would say. Then I'll cut a piece from the pan and put it on a plate and add a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Hmmm.... the taste is delicious!
Now, if I can just keep those pesky birds away just a little longer!
