Carletta, I find these pictures romantic. The soft light, the fog, the countryside, are so attractive. About your question on my post, the painting are permanent, in that quiet ancient spot in an almost deserted small village.
Well I did come for sky watch but I'm glad I stumbled in here instead. That first shot is magical. I really found it so wonderfully mystical and full of the feel of autumn.
That slaight slant to the photo, combined with the fog gives it a surreal feeling. I wonder if you aren't letting your fearless tranquility lead you into [cue music] The Twilight Zone.
Beautiful poem and photo. I enjoyed scrolling down the page and seeing all the wonderful thoughts and posts I missed during my time in the cave of gloom. You have been busy. Congrats on your new blog too. I'll check it out shortly. Hope all is well. We had fog here tonight and rain which is supposed to turn to freezing rain. There are signs now of grass and earth but it is still mostly white. Still, Spring is on the way. I know it is.

Isn't that pretty! Sometimes fog can be a nuisance - but mostly I find it to be just another beautiful piece of nature. Obviously you do too.
