How cool! I'll bet they're having fun. It still amazes me that animals can live through in freezing weather while we have to put on coats, boots and gloves and may still risk hypothermia.
Cool shots. I enjoyed scrolling down and catching up on all that I've missed. Being lazy tonight and not commenting. Good to have my computer back after almost a week. Yikes!
Great shots! Your ice fishers are much closer than mine, you can actually see what they're doing! But I have to admit, much as I like being out in nature, the "fun" of this pasttime kind of eludes me. To each his/her own, I guess. :-)

Interesting photo. I have never seen ice fishing before.
I've done icefishing once - and it was fun! Your photoes brings me back.....:)
And - what beautiful picks of the red cardinal you have! never seen one!
Now that's dedication!
Aren't there supposed to be little huts or something they use for this??
Brr...!
Wow, hard to believe that's a lake. Amazing that it can freeze like that. Beautiful.
Beautiful view. I've never been ice fishing. It requires two things that I don't have, patience and warmth, ha.
Oooh that looks like a cold sport Brrr :) Neat photos though.
Ah yes I love ice fishing, its a memory from childhood I will always love. Great shots.
Cheers!

I've always wanted to ice fish but I'd probably fall through. Interesting pictures!
Water? Where water? I don't see any water. ;)
Carletta, these are very interesting landscapes we have not, here.
Beautiful pictures!

I have never seen ice fishing life ! only in movies or photos.
Nice photos. Some people were having fun.
To answer your question on one of my shots I had posted the second photo but only in sepia.
Looks very cold!!!
Doesn't ice fishing look like a very cold way to have "fun"? It's popular up here too!
Looks mighty cold to me! I think I would stick to summer fishing if I were those guys.
Bobbie
Maybe the were catching froozen fish ...
Have a nice day !
Ah-Ha! that's where frozen fishsticks come from?? Great watery shot Carletta.
Carletta: I have done ice fishing and even when I caught fish I was cold. I thought it wasn't that much fun.
I've never been ice fishing before! Neat shots!!
The one guy in the top picture looks like he has something on his line--or else he is hung on something.
I have never ice-fished--not sure if I would like it or not. People seem to have a lot of fun with it though.
It's cold here in Tennessee this morning, but at least not cold enough to permit ice fishing. Thanks for sharing these.
I really want to experience this in the future so nice..Thanks for sharing them.
That is surely something I will only see in photos.......cool!
That's something I've always wanted to try...maybe someday ;)
Just throw your catch in the freezer, or thaw and cook. Brrrrr. Pappy

That does look cold! Great shots.
Now that's something worth seeing. But, tell me, they catch anytihng?
Cool! I have read about ice fishing and even seen some photos before but have never witnessed it up close.
You really have to be a dedicated fisherman to do that. I'll have to ask my son where Turkey Lake is.
