That is beautiful. As you know I have always enjoyed pictures of churches....thanks.

Yes, the slide show was from the Smokies. We went down there one spring for spring break and got up in the morning and there was quiet a bit of snow on the ground. Clingmans Dome was close until right before we left.

It's kind of funny but Rose and I grew up within about 60-70 miles of the Smokies and I had never been there until I had been in IN for several years.

I've never seen a steeple like that one. Such a pretty little church.
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Do the churches still forbid those in worn, dirty, tattered clothes, with and without shoes to enter?

Most don't.

My mom used to say strangers might be Jesus.

What a lovely old church. It looks sort of like it has a split personality. The main church is so plain and simple and then that steeple! Like a lavish fancy hat on an otherwise somberly dressed lady.

Oh, these are really nice. I especially like the steeple shots. Or are they called spires?

Excellent captures! I like taking pictures of churches, especially the older ones. They have an aura about them that most of the newer ones lack, and they look so inviting. This one is lovely!
