This big guy was the highlight I saw through my window this week. You can see he wandered in close to the birdbath under the oak tree. I was surprised to see him. He probably shouldn't make himself too known to too many. Why?
He's liable to be some hunter's trophy prize!( An eight pointer!)

What a handsome boy he is. I thought it was interesting in the first picture that the branches behind the bird bath kind of look like an extra set of antlers. Deer are such lovely animals. There's just something wonderful about seeing them - even just in pictures.
He is a beauty! I think I could set and just look out your windows and be perfectly happy for hours on end.

Run and hide Bucky! Hunting season is right around the corner. What a great photo Carletta, every time I see a buck I can't seem to get a good clear photo.

Carletta: Very nicely captured, even though he is an 8 pointer he is a youngster with many more good years. Let's hope he is a sneaky buck.
He does seem a bit bold and I hope he's really smarter than to make himself too well known. Maybe he just trusts you...can feel good vibes in your yard. ;-)

He's beautiful! I'm still waiting to see a deer out my window. With my loud-mouth dogs, I doubt it will happen any time soon.
