Skies Over The Front Yard
Skies Over The Back Yard
Skies Through the Grape Arbor
I took the first three photos last Sunday afternoon in my yard. The sky was amazing. It was hard that day not to keep looking up! The last photo I took specifically for Project Black. My local Taco Bell is a restaurant, gas station, and liquor store all in one. I'll be posting more from there sometime later.
Happy Sky Watching Everyone!

love the grape arbor the best :)
I love the grape arbor shot! How interesting... Your cirrus in the first shot are incredible though... awesome!
Carletta, I forgot to mention, but I have noticed your photography talents continuously getting better and better. I love watching it happen.
Carletta: What a great series of cloud shots from your home, the clouds have been super this week.
Love the angles that you use to make great shots.
Welcome to our new Skywatch Blog.We hope you will like and enjoy posting your skies here.
The Team thankyou for participating and helping to make this venture a success.
Nice work!
Petunia's SWF
The first and third photo look sort of like someone tossed confectioners' sugar in the air and then quickly took a photo. Well, I SAID sort of. LOL
Wonderful skies..what comes to my mind looking at your pictures..
"The sky is the limit" maybe not..
Great SWF picture,
cheers from Canada
Very nice! Have a great weekend!
Excellent Carletta... then again ALL you posting are excellent, thats why it's always a pleasure to visit..
Tom
wow, that's some wonderful sky you posted.
nice job combining the two projects :)
I can see how it would have been hard to *not* take photos of that beautiful sky! Nicely done, in all of them.
Hello from Colorado. Nice clouds.
Great combos. You really have a good eye. Pappy
I have a sky a little like your last one. A good series. And thank you for the headsup about Project Black. I will check it out.

Beautiful photos Carletta
Truly love the Grape Arobr shot! Very nicely done.
I do so love SWF... it's such a wonderful way to see the world's skies :)
I love how you used the squares so artfully in the photos of the arbor and gas station.
What a back yard! I wish I could take my son and a soccer ball and enjoy all that space. Oh heck, I just wish I could run--period! ;-)
Oh i have to agree with Runee that Grape Arbor is fabulous
All are wonderful, but the one through the grape arbor is my favorite.
Fine images, Carletta!
(I hope you can see my photo too)
All great shots. I love your skies!
Carletta, those are just beautiful. When I enlarge them it gives me the sense of being there in person.
Great sequence. I am seeing excellent examples on PB - wish I had joined.
Your backyard and you were very privileged to that beautiful sky.
The grape arbor photo is a stunner!
Your photos today are amazing, love them all!
Breathtaking! The skies are glorious -- and the view through the grape arbor is spell binding.
The Taco Bell photo is wonderful, too. Building and sky weld together to form a seamless, perfect whole. Painters cover canvas after canvas striving to create that effect, but only God succeeds.
It's amazing just turning around what different views you can get. Love that first one with the tree right in the center. I'm new to SWF and enjoying what everyone does.
I didn't know Taco Bell had gas stations. Good eye to pick up on the black there!
Beautiful effects, mainly Grape Arbor.
Beautiful shots of the sky! I love the 1st and 3rd shots!
Way to go combining Sky and Black! Great skies and fun shots...
All of these are so creative and fun. We grow grapes so I love the arbor shot and its perspective, but honestly that last one is so neat.
I especially love the grape arbor view! These are wonderful, Carletta.
Very beautiful skies! And I love the project Black Mugs! Got to get me some of those! :)
Cheers, Klaus
I'm with Runee, the grape arbor. All great, but they one was a real eyepopper.

You've sure had some pretty skies in your neck of the woods. I love the grape arbor shot!
Wonderful! I love the grape arbor.
WOW that is so so so pretty!!!
I'd seen both memes separately, but not together. I like how you combined the themes.
The skies are amazing. I think the 2nd is my favorite but that grape arbor is pretty cool too (and I would think qualified for project black along with the last shot). There's something peaceful about all of your photos that just makes them wonderful to look at.
Love the Taco Bell Black, etc!
Thanks for sharing your lovely photos with sky watch friday and your kind comments on my blog earlier.
These are just stunning Carletta! Can't add anything not already mentioned.
Love the grape arbor shot.

Wow, it feels like you could reach up and touch the sky in these shots!
Carletta,
Those are very beautiful clouds and you did an excellent job of photographing them. It seems that this spring and summer has brought an unusual amount of opportunities to capture unique cloud formations.
The one through the grape arbor is exceptional as it is an unusual perspective!
I like the ones over the backyard best, Carletta.
Thank you for sharing those great pictures. I always enjoy your SWF.

I love them all but the one over the grape arbor is my favorite. Different.
