In my little corner of the world jeans or jean capris and a great T-shirt are the MAJOR staples of my wardrobe. In the country you really only need that and two or three "good" outfits and you're covered for just about anything that comes up. But when it's time to dress up a girl needs a few accessories to make that good outfit stand out in a crowd. I'm sure the ladies know what I'm talking about and when it is all said and done you guys like the end result, the pretty picture it all becomes. You guys nag and complain about prep time but in the end you like the eye candy of the whole package whether you admit it or not.
The two images above are a couple of my favorite accessories. The scarf was made in Italy and was a gift years ago. The colors add just the right amount of 'pop' to most plain basic colored outfits and I'm good to go.
Isn't the best accessory for any outfit a great purse and one in basic black! I love this one. My daughter found this Tommy Hilfiger bag at a discount store at HUGE savings. I'm a big Hilfiger fan and she knows it so this was a wonderful surprise. It has a mauve color inside ladies - gorgeous.
Dressing up isn't me; but when I have to I'm good to go!
Oh, I should tell you my darling Cindy also got me a demin bag by Hilfiger with red inside to carry the rest of the time! She's such a wonderful daughter don't you think!
To all the ladies reading I hope you enjoyed the eye candy today and fellows if it's any consolation to you I went to a tractor and truck pull today and will be posting those images real soon!!

Both gorgeous and gorgeous photos too. I'd know I'd love the denim one. Wonderful to have such a good daughter, but then I'm sure she learned everything she knows about that from her mother.
I'm a big fan of finding something at huge discounts. I'm an even bigger fan when my wife finds things at huge discounts!
Carletta, I sent a lot of time looking at my black computer bag today and thinking about photographing it, especially since it has eye-popping magenta lining. I am so glad I didn't. You purse is much more stylin'. I love the scarf, too.
The scarf is a lovely treasured gift and of course a black bag is a must!
Beautiful, Carletta :)
I have a couple of "Do rags" that might be colorful enough to qualify in this post and a man purse that I can strap around my waist. My daughters keep me in style too. They are up on the latest. Bebe says she can look as good as she ever did, but it takes her two hours longer. Pappy
Beautiful accessories!!
Lot of pretty things well photographed.

OMG! A black Croc Hilfiger purse! You need nothing else. Well... maybe Tommy Cho pumps. :)
Sorry I have been a little lax in visiting lately, feels as if my life has been twisted like piece of red rope. It will stop next week.
Love that scarf...and I am definitely a jeans gal, so I completely agree with the post.
Loved your commentary Carletta :)
The photos of your lovely scarf and bag were perfect.
Carletta: Really cool black post, very nicely done.
well, the scarf and the purse look just great!
Carletta,
You got it all together very nicely!! :)
Love these shots!

Excellent bag and scarf! Just gorgeous, Carletta! I can picture you in them! :)
A truck & tractor pull! Maaan! We go to the one at the county fair every couple o' years or so... They're FUN! WAY better than the horse pulls!
I have a Tommy bag that I carry "daily" right now -- but it's nothing quite so fancy as your bag! It's a little navy/white canvas stripe! Cute! I got mine at Peebles for 70% off - it still cost $24 - but I thought THAT was very reasonable! (but really... $85 for CANVAS??? No WAY!)
LOL. Is there anything else besides jeans? I told my wife when we started planning a cruise that I wasn't going on a cruise where I had to wear a suit. :)
I love Hilfiger, classic style
your girls sound lovely
Carletta,
These accessories are perfect for going out and for project black!
I love the composition of the first shot, especially!
