This is my little firepit that sits inside my gazebo. On cool evenings in the spring and fall it's a wonderful place to sit in the swing and enjoy a little cozy fire just for two!
Blue has always been my favorite color. So, when I saw this on sale last spring with the mosaic pattern I loved it and brought it to my new home. The color is soothing and I like the softness of the blue against the black iron.
Come on in the gazebo and sit a spell. I'd be glad for the company!

It's a vey pretty table !
Hmmm I can picture you now by the fire - very pretty Carletta.
Great picture! Firepits are so nice! We had one, but one of the legs broke a few months ago. Of course, yours is much prettier!
LOVE the music to fit this one! Such an inviting post today. And I like the mosaic.
It's very beautiful and inviting...and I enjoyed listening to The Doors (perfect musical background for this!), we had a huge Jim Morrison poster welcoming our guests when I was in college :)
How pretty that is. Such a nice idea to sit outside with a little self-contained fire, listening to the crickets and looking at the stars. Nice.
Lovely fire pit! Do you have the makings for s'mores?
Beautiful piece of work, I bet its really nice to sit awhile, maybe with a glass of wine too.lol.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
Fire outside is not permitted here where I live. You could be arrested if you lit that up here in our rinky dinky community. I suppose they have good reason, but if you want to beat the system, you must show a wiener roast in progress. So you would have to have hot dogs on a fork and buns nearby and mustard. That then would be permitted to have a roaring fire anywhere, and the fuel could be a pile of brush. That is what politicians do. They make laws with loop holes. LOL
That is so pretty. Blue is my favourite colour too and this is a great take on project blue!
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments :)
I like that pattern. Must be nice and cozy on a cool night.
Beautiful table, awesome photo, and and inviting setting! I've just been hanging around listening to the music, lol.
How pretty! We are always under a no burn ban here so we probably couldn't get away with having one of those.
Carletta: Very cool, doesn't look like you have used the fire pit. Do you use it only for a table?
Do you really light fires in it ON your deck? My hubby will not let us keep the pit on our deck! It has to go out in the grass. (it's making me wish I had a stone patio!) It is a beautiful pit! Love the stonework -- but I would also think that would crack with the heat... Mine is all metal... not NEARLY so pretty as yours!!!
I'll be right there and I would have bought it too! I love it :)
That's a great blue rimmed fire pit! I like it. Fun times sitting around it I'm sure...
I love how you described it. It must be so nice to sit around.
Color me "there". I'll bring the stuff for smores ;)
Pretty fire pit and great shot for blue!
I like that. I love the composition!
I'm enjoying the doors whele I look at your picture, come on baby light my fire! Well they did, hehehehe! Is it a coincidence or did you intend it like that? Love your picture!
love all three today's posts... this looks a gorgeous table.
Nice picture. Good textures.
That's very pretty, Carletta, and sounds like such a cozy spot to spend some time. (when it's cool)
Also , that is an awesome picture in your last post!!
Junie
A lovely pit for making a cozy fire, Carletta! Nice blues! :D
To be honest, I never understood the purpose of outdoor fireplaces, but since my Wife and I built our new house, I have to admit they tempt me a bit.
Very pretty fireplace. It makes me interested to see the "big picture" of your gazebo. I'm sure it's lovely.
Nice! Sounds like it is a comfortable addition!
Nice song to go with it too.
I'm amazed how you find such wonderful posts every day...wow. I love looking at life through your lenses.
Oh i would love to sit there with you and have a hot cocoa.
