Iris are my favorite. They don't bloom in the arctic until July.

I encourage EVERYONE to enlarge this one. You will not be disappointed. Carletta, you outdid yourself here. The color is incredible. And the sharpness with those drops...WOW.

Exquisite. I love the richness of the colors and the clarity of the rain on the petals. Beautiful.

I clicked to enlarge and was blown away by the sheer beauty you have captured, each raindrop is like a jewel sown onto a fine silk... it really is a beautiful picture..

Nice to be back up and running.. I missed my visits here..

Carletta: Very nicely done, I love the droplets of water and how well they showed on the photo.

Isn't that gorgeous! Look at all those little droplets on there! I hear we are supposed to get TONS of little droplets here today... but right now it's still sunny and beautiful!

Really gorgeous! Did you have lots of rain--I would like to know how many inches we have had since yesterday morn. We have had A LOT!

I love Irises! They won't grow here because there is no winter freeze to reset the bulbs.

That is so beautiful especially with the raindrops.
Good day, Hope you'll visit my 16th WW...Blogging for Peace at The Cafe.

I finally thought to check weatherunderground for how much rain we have had--yesteray we had 3.34 inches and today we had 1.02 inches--I would have bet money there was more than that today though! So it sounds like we are have the same storms go through.

Carletta, a blue Iris is beautiful because you don't see many of them. A perfect photo! :D

Stunning shot!!

I grew up in a flower market - this is the most beautiful iris I've ever seen!

(Lightning knocked me off line for a day - I'm just catching up.)

I'm glad you smiled! Beautiful photo of the iris. I must be colorblind LOL...looks purple on my screen (wink)

I've been thinking of you with the storms today...stay safe!
