Project Blue. Take Eight.

This little bunny sat in my garden for many years before the move to this house late last summer.

He used to be a beautiful marbled color of blue with a gorgeous patina.

Now he is faded and his paint has chipped; but I like his vintage weathered look as he stands guard under the tree beside the little fish pond in the front yard.

I think the fading and chipping adds character. I like it. I think it's funny that you have a rabbit guarding the garden. Isn't that like having the the fox guard the hen house? Ha ha.

Love the little blue bunny. As certain as I am that he was lovely when you first got him, I do like the weathered look. As Robert said, it adds character.

He's still cute even though he's a little old and weathered! Very cool!

Like my blue chairs, I like your weathered bunny just fine! And I like your deer tale too! We have deer wander through our yard too -- as a matter of fact, we have a family that lives in our back field! They are not happy to have us out in the yard though... we can watch through the windows!

I DO have a "tale" on my blog this morning -- but it doesn't include deer!
