K is for Kisses and Kittens

Today I'm participating in two memes. The first is Quilly's Alphabet Challenge. Each day for the first twenty-six days in May we are posting a photo that corresponds with a letter in the alphabet. Today's letter is "K". Be sure to check out the above link for other participants in the Alphabet Challenge.

K is for Kisses

Bet you're craving chocolate now aren't you! Yes, that unwrapped kiss is long gone!

My second challenge today is Misty Dawn's Camera-Critters Sunday.

Each Sunday we post pictures of our favorite critter. You should see what folks find to post! Be sure to check out Misty's link for other participants.

K is for what was Once a Kitten

This is Heidi. My son Chris rescued her when she was a kitten and he was in his second year in college. He named her Heidi because she hid all the time. She lived with him in his apartment at Virginia Tech (yeah) until he went to do an internship at Walt Disney World. He couldn't take her with him so she came to live with me. She spent a short time with my son and his wife until she couldn't get along with their cat Jack and she's been here ever since. She still hides when company comes or when she's uncomfortable with the noises around her. She's a sweetie - especially when she looks at you timidly with those pretty green eyes!

Sounds like you collect animals the way we do! Heidi is a cutie and I like her name. I should join the Camera Critter, but just not right now. Though I do have a picture up of Clover that I took while I had her/him outside.

What a sweet kitty!!! I used to have a cat that was shy around company too.. and when she decided to come out they really knew they were officially accepted. :)

Me and hubby were singing along to the song playing.. "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine" :)

She's absolutely adorable. That look on her face made me think "You are NOT going to go get the vacuum cleaner, are you?" What an adorable photo.

By the way - Erin (she's on the Mr. Linky for CC) went to VT too. One of her cats is named Hokie ;-)

Now - will you PLEASE pass me one of those Hershey Kisses already!!!

Haven't heard that old Jimmy Rodgers song in years!
I always called them silver bells but kisses are nice and so are the hugs they have out.

Both these photos are super for the themes. You're such a tease leaving a kiss unwrapped for us all to crave over LOL Well done Carletta.

Wait, wait, wait, you have a former VT kittie AND your son interned at WDW? That's sounds like a fairly good excuse. Gotta love Mickey. :o)

What apartments did he live in?

Hmmmm...kitties and kisses...2 of my favorite things. Heidi is an adorable little girl. Years ago we had a shy cat that hid all the time. The 2 we have now are VERY friendly, just big love-sponges.
