From The Ground Up - Day Five

Shrooms...
(click to enlarge to see all the detail)
I like that you can see the house foundation and up on to the porch in the background of this one - from the ground up!
Do you believe in fairies?
The top of this one reminds me of burnt sugar cookies!
This one I tried to show the perspective from the mushroom's view.

Fantastic! Good from the Ground up shots. And wonderful detail. You are turning into a pro. I wanted to do this meme, but requires contortions I am not able to do any more. I am looking forward to whats on the table mid-June when we get back. :)

Oh my goodness! I just came in from my walk and guess what I'd actually laid down with my belly in the dirt and my feet in the parkinglot to photograph? I actually heard some little girl [attempt to] whisper, "Mommy, what's that fat lady doing in the dirt?"

Mommy made hushing noises and they both skedaddled away. I'll set my toad stool photos aside and tell the funny story here, then I'll skedaddle, too -- until tomorrow!

Ohhhh mannn...you beat me to the shrooms! There is a little patch in the back yard that I was going to shoot. I like yours better, they're in a more natural setting...mine are in the lawn. Fun shots ;)

You've been busy. Going from one project right into another. Good for you. I'm waiting for Anna's next one as I see you are too. Anyhow, these are stunning images and fit the topic well. Keep it up!

Great shots, particularly the one which resembles a burnt sugar cookie!
The mushroom's view fits the theme perfectly, well done!

The last time I shot shrooms I was listening to CCR and reading a book written by some looney tunes guy in Arizona on a mission to find his Indian buddies lost ancestors!! LOL

Fantastic post and GREAT MUSIC!! I may return all day for this one.

And Quilly's comment - PRICELESS!!

For the next 5, are ya'll going to FORCE me down in the dirt? LOL

I'm obviously doing this from a different perspective! That's what makes it fun. My neighbors already think I've lost it...if they see me laying down anywhere, they will call 911.

I agree with Judi...you are a pro...these shots are fantastic Carletta! Wow!

I particularly love the "mushroom's eye view" shot! They're all very cool, but that's definitely my favorite of the set!

Your camera probably wouldn't have that wide angled view mine seems to. Thanks for stopping by and commenting this morning. I don't know where this vacation thing is going, but I'll run it until the pictures run out. Pappy

I woodnthuv tore up the mushroom patch had I knowed how beautiful they can be when displayed in a magical setting (ur blog). You sure do get into ur photography! It's a good thing too, cuz this is one beautiful blog. Is that really you in the picture? Is Credence Clearwater a country band or a rock band?

When my pop was alive he used to pick wild mushrooms and knew which were safe to eat. He made the best wild mushrooms with red pepper, oil and garlic. It was seasonal but he would get bushel fulls. I wish I had paid better attention :(
