Hubs and I have lived in our area for the last three years. Last week we visited the local regional airport just to see what it looked it. It's fair to say it is a small airport with not a lot of activity.We were the only car circling the lot when we were there. I asked Hubs to pull over so I could take a photo of this turquoise plane for Midweek Blues. To me the paint color is reminiscent of an old fifties Chevrolet.
As we were pulling away to leave we heard the sound of a plane taking off and I was fairly quick in getting this shot of a royal blue plane as it left the landing strip.
After we had left the airport we stopped by a Wildlife Refuge where I took this shot of a dragonfly. The plane above flew overhead. You can't tell from the silhouette in the overcast sky but it was mostly blue as well.Have a wonderful Wednesday and don't let any 'midweek blues' get you down. Keep looking up!
