Last Tuesday Mary suggested that since this week was St. Patrick's Day maybe we would like to post things green. This is a figurine I found a few years ago in a discount store. I sat a red candle beside him to have a little red for Ruby Tuesday to go with the green. In the first shot I can't help feeling his home is in the woods you can see just outside the window and he came inside to spend a little time with me.
Everybody wants to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day. I always did. When you're wearing green on St. Patrick's Day and have red hair people seem to take more notice and ask if you're Irish. A few years ago I researched my family history. A long ago Grandfather (too many Greats to remember just how many) on my Mother's side imigrated from Londonderry, Ireland. Today I can proudly say, yes, I'm Irish!Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!
