Blue Eyes Times Two

A Mourning Dove walks in the fallen leaves.
I wonder if they can hear the crunch?
Tired or winking at me?
This is my Grandson. Little Mr. Blue Eyes turns three today. Happy Birthday Sammy!!!!

    I'm sure the dove can hear the crunch of the leaves, and if he's anything like me, will love that sound! I can never resist a crunchy leaf when out walking.

    Neat photos of the Doves... We usually have some around here --but I haven't seen any lately... I do know that there are 2 cats in the rental house next door, so maybe some of the birds took off for safer places.

    Sammy is precious...and the doves beautiful. So much pretty blue. May be on my way back to WV this weekend. Bud is running in another race over by the bridge over the gorge where all the crazy people go jumping. He has PROMISED me no more No-Tell Motels so I may give in a go. More photo opportunities. g

    I think that dove is asleep in that one picture! All of them are beautiful. But your blue-eyed grandson is the best...what a charmer! Time goes fast ... doesn't seem that long ago when you took some time off to be with him when he was first here!

    Those doves are lovely. I've never been able to get that close to the ones that feed at our place.
