Behind the Fence: Forsythia

Today's fence is from my own front yard. It's a partial fence that seperates the small yard pond from the driveway. I took this as I was on my way out to do errands yesterday. Many people keep their forsynthia bushes cut back but this one we have let grow naturally.

Let's take a closer look.

How about a macro look - shall we?

If we look really, really close we can see who was hiding in that big bush.

  11. A super series of photos. It is one of my favourite plants. I first saw it in Switzerland years ago. I haven't seen it here in Qld but the cooler states have it I think. I love the dreamy look of the first photo.

  14. DIANE: FROM FAR AWAY I THINK FORSYTHIA TENDS TO LOOK DARKER AND NOT AS BRIGHT. SO I SOFTENED THIS SO THE YELLOW WOULD BE TRUER TO THE NATURAL COLOR THAT YOUR EYE SEES.
    GLAD YOU LIKED IT!
