Cool Clicks: Waterdrops

On a recent day as I waited in the Jeep while my dear Hubby ran in Lowe's to pick up some electrical supplies. I picked up my ever present camera and started taking photos of the raindrops pounding the windshield. If you look closely at the first image you'll see a green reflection of what I think is the glass of the car in front of me. When I looked closer I felt the picture had dimension. It looked like a thin layer of foam with holes in it. The second one seems to do that as well and I like the almost swirling motion of a waterdrop universe it conveys. Lastly, my camera was pointed at the driver's side window and a maroon car and a red truck were in the parking places beside me. The big bubble near the bottom left shows them best.

  3. So great things can happen when you have some time on your hands.
For Artful Diva , my song would be "Oh No don't let the rain come down!"

  7. These are cool clicks! I really like the way you captured the reflections of the vehicles around you in the raindrops. Of course, the patterns of the drops themselves are pretty neat.

  10. I took a photo like this once...there was a wet leaf stuck to the windshield as well as the drops. I never knew if it would have been a good shot because I had forgotten to put film in my camera! :-) This was before I got the digital. I took a shot of a cloud that looked like a feather on that same "roll." THAT's not likely to ever happen again! :-)

Happy almost birthday! I know I would love Valentines Day if we didn't have so many birthdays in Dec & Jan. It would be an awesome day to be born. Your Mom & Dad received the perfect little Valentine!
