  2. I just love the colors in this, not just the rainbow, but the blue above it and the pinkish gray below. Beautiful image!

  3. Lovely shot.
I agree with TexWisGirl: rainbows are a reminder that there is hope, even when it is so faint it is easy to miss.

  4. Beautiful rainbow, Carletta... We were hoping for some rain today here --but got none. Maybe tomorrow!!!!

But--it's cool here --so we're enjoying a nice fire in the fireplace tonight.
    Hugs,

  17. So lovely! You are not going to believe this but my grandson and I saw the most amazing partial rainbow I have ever seen on Friday when I picked him up....unfortunately I drove a little too far to try to get closer, and suddenly, poof, it was gone! But it was enormously wide and touched the ground. I felt like if we could have gone a little farther, we would have been right at its base! It was that huge! I really regretted not getting a shot right away! :-( We get greedy sometimes! :-)

  18. So right Carletta--we need this rainbow promise after the great tragedy on the 14th. Lives may get better, but never the same, sadly.
