Watery Wednesday Through The Fence

I don't think these images need many words. As we drive along one of the ridges minutes from our home this is the view we can look down and see. These were taken in mid-October. I'm still trying to finish up posting fall foliage shots because my world is all brown and bare now!
Do click and enlarge the last two for a much better view.

I like that second pic best. There's something about the contrasts in focus and color that gives it an exceptional artistic flair.

Neat shots! I especially like the second one, pretty colors and blurry background. My world is pretty much brown and bare, too - it's fun to see a little fall color!

Hello Carletta
Nice pictures you show - I really like them.

Thank you for your comment on my squirrel.
Looked just on the net and found this:

At ears are tufts of hair most of the year. Individual strand during the autumn and harvested next spring. In summer ears so without tufts of hair.

I'll join several of the other commenters with a "favorite" vote for photo 2. Like these progressive shots very much. I'm calling a halt to fall foliage too at the end of this month. Oh, yes forgot to say--love the blue mirrored look of the water.

I like what you have done Carletta. Very cool.
Brown , bare, and a bit of snow here, but a warmup coming. Yay, I can decorate outside and not freeze my hands.

That barbed wire brings back childhood memories. When I was a kid we used to put up posts and string the wire to make a fence. I can remember getting scratched up doing that.

Fine use of the barbed wire as a foreground element in these river shots.

Great post...you got two birds with one stone. Love the macro shots. They are really cool. I am back. LR class is over, my back's been acting up, and the trip to MD over TGiving took its toll. I just shut the computer down for a bit, but all is fine. I pass that barn everyday driving home from school in the afternoons. It is just past the Fairfield rest stop. This day Buddy was driving and I made him slow down. Cannot believe they came out as well as they did. The pond that I ddi not get is beautiful and now has a new dock with little seats on the sides. They must stock it. Hope all is well. Do you think we are ever going to really have winter????genie

It would be hard not to take too many fall shots in that Autumn Paradise where you live. These are lovely.
