Rural Thursday and Friday's Fences

These are all scenes from my yard this past Tuesday. The first two photos remind me of illustrations from childrens picture books. I took these early but eventually the ground got covered. No more words today so just click on the first one to enlarge it and enjoy the slideshow.

  1. You have snow where you are already? I love snow pictures, but I'm glad Winter does not start that early here in Belgium. Although the colored leaves won't last much longer here anyway, they predicted some strong winds over the weekend, so ...
I love love low that first picture!!

I assume the early snow must be because of Sandy ?

  21. I love these "blend of the seasons" photos--although you probably would have preferred that the snow hold off a bit longer? And that first scene is so gentle--it could be this year's Christmas card.

  29. WOW! The snow pictures are stunning, especially the one with the Fir trees! Wonderful fence picture too. I hope you didn't lose power. I was on the wind side of Sandy, but was fortunate to regain power quickly.
