These are all scenes from my yard this past Tuesday. The first two photos remind me of illustrations from childrens picture books. I took these early but eventually the ground got covered. No more words today so just click on the first one to enlarge it and enjoy the slideshow.
Linking to Rural Thursday and Friday's Fences.
You have snow where you are already? I love snow pictures, but I'm glad Winter does not start that early here in Belgium. Although the colored leaves won't last much longer here anyway, they predicted some strong winds over the weekend, so ...
ReplyDeleteI love love low that first picture!!
So some great Friday Fences and a little extra...snow.
ReplyDeletethese are awesome! the fence shot is gorgeous, but that doe in the first takes the prize!!! beautiful!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! They do look like pictures from Little Golden Books...beautiful..

ReplyDeleteYou just can't resist taking shots of the first snow of the season..they are beautiful...the first one is my fave. Not ready for snow yet ...but I know it's just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of jealous...the type where it isn't that I don't want you to have snow...I just want some of my own and to be able to attempt shots like these!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these are absolutely beautiful! (although it's still a bit early for snow - even for people like me who love winter)
ReplyDeleteAll of your snowy photos are beautiful. I'm glad Sandy didn't cause too much havoc around your home.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh. First, I haven't seen snow in years. Second, I want a copy of that first one. Do you sell your pics. OMGOSH......I LOVE IT. It's magical.

ReplyDeletethe first one would make a nice Christmas card!
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love these "blend of the seasons" photos--although you probably would have preferred that the snow hold off a bit longer? And that first scene is so gentle--it could be this year's Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wintry scenes, esp the deer, what a beauty, & the fence, too! WoW! =)
ReplyDeleteLove the first one. It really looks like a painting.
ReplyDeleteOh dear you have snow already? I hope it will stay away a bit longer here. I love your photo's. Have a nice weekend Carletta

ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a Christmas book I once had....you would be remiss if you didn't turn that first shot into a Christmas card! Beautiful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteWOW! The snow pictures are stunning, especially the one with the Fir trees! Wonderful fence picture too. I hope you didn't lose power. I was on the wind side of Sandy, but was fortunate to regain power quickly.
ReplyDeleteNice shots! It just doesn't seem right that it is snowing already. Wow, time is flying by too quickly!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. I think my favorite is the one with the pine trees in the background. Notice, that I said I think it is because I had a hard time picking one. :)
ReplyDeleteBest ever Carletta! xo
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is stunning. Really does look like an illustration!
ReplyDeleteSnow?????!!!!! Oh my gosh!!! These photos are quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSnow! How delightful! Only a Texan who is still experiencing 80-degree weather can get away with saying such a thing!
