Barn Charm

This long and much patched up barn was just down the road from the barn silo I posted last week.
If you click to enlarge the image you can see that although the setting looks pristine the condition of the barn isn't.
I had to contend with shooting into the sun that washed out the sky; but this is the front of the barn. This perspective sure makes the barn look much smaller and in far better condition than it is.

  1. looks like they added on to the much smaller barn at one time. it is pretty neat, though.

  2. I would like to know what that barn was used for. It is funny how it looks so small from the front but is a huge barn.

  6. Very long in the first photo. I'm glad you took the second one even if the sky is washed out. It gives me a better idea of what the barn looks like.

  10. Not only is it patched up but very old. At one time it must have been a profitable building for it's owners. Would that be a "milk house " in front or a well ?

  11. From the front it looks like a tiny barn, but it is huge! Looks like it's been added onto at some point.

  15. This is a very long barn -- much longer than usual. It could use some TLC.

  16. Very large. I am sure it is hard to maintain being that large.

  17. I WISH I had a barn! Could you imagine what a great photo studio I could make out of that?? (I love to dream about that kind of stuff, but it's not very practical for me.)

  23. A fine, old barn to shoot for today. It is in worse condition that first look shows. I like the two views so we get a more complete impression of the barn.
