beauty AND the beast ;D
such a beauty. love the color. (:
I, for one, LOVE thistle blooms...and so do the winged creatures! Perfect addition to WW today - thanks for linking up!
By the way, that photo was taken in Hampton Harbor, not far from Ft. Monroe.
They do have such gorgeous blooms, but that's about all I can say about them when I'm hacking at them with a machete. :)
They are beautiful even if they are a pain.
Even what we call weeds can be beutiful! The birds love them anyway!Nice shot!
Pretty in pink! =) I think they're very pretty
gorgeous. and good to attract butterflies and goldfinches. :)
Super quote and photo. :)
They are beauties!!! I love the color!
yep I found out the hard way not to touch them..
Quote is so true, but something we have to train ourselves to do--seeing beauty in unexpected places. Such a clean, crisp photo--best kind.
Really, really gorgeous!
I guess thistles need some better PR.
Oh, I can never resist shooting thistle!
It LOOKS like a beauty! Let's just ignore the rest. Isn't that color wonderful?
This is an amazing capture...beautifully composed and focused!

We have these in our pastures in the early spring. They are beautiful although .... well, they can just be trouble but when they're blooming you overlook that fault.
Love the photo. Great shot!
Magnificent photo ~ color and texture awesome ~ (A Creative Harbor) ~
I couldn't agree more! I have to pull them so they don't choke my gardens but it hurts a bit just the same. Such gorgeous colors.
That's a great photo. These flowers are so pretty. I don't like the thorns though.
Love it!
