Carletta, your Rose of Sharon bushes produce some beautiful blooms. Thanks for sharing them. You've perhaps read about the changes in Today's Flowers. Your continued support is very much appreciated :)
Wow - they are beautiful. I don't believe I have seen this bloom here in Australia. Are these flowers (shrubs), just in your garden area or are they in pots?? They remind me of some flower I have seen here, but I can't think what it is called! Indeed very nice. Cheers Colin (Brisbane.Australia)
Colin, These are blooms from the bushes/shrubs I have in my yard. I have about ten of them that serve as a privacy hedge of sorts between my property and my neighbors. They are part of the Hibiscus flower family. Kind regards,
These are beautiful, Carletta. The pinkish red popping through the second one is lovely. We were going to drive over to Bear Town and Cranberry Boggs today, but our weather is miserable. If the rains move on, we will hit the road for WV. Genie
One of my favorite blooming shrubs. Your photos is gorgeous.
I have a small one that started out as a volunteer along my fence. I moved it to a better spot and expected to loose it to the drought but it has flourished and actually gave me a few tiny blossoms last month.
