Looks to be an old one! I like the scrollwork in that 2nd one.
oh, it's a quaint, rustic cemetery! i was expecting ornate wrought iron... i was pleasantly surprised!
Wonderful! I love the rusty latch. And I've always liked your banner and quote!
I think both the fence and the gate were probably hand-crafted. Nice find.
Linda, It is quite old. If I must admit it has surrounded this cemetery since I was a teenager oh so many years ago. :)
Rather interesting fence. I wonder how old the wire is. I've seen it and it's always on something old like the cemetery.
I love those old scrolly fences and that gate is a beauty. Pamela
Cemetery fences: Are they for keeping the dead in or the living out? :)San Miguel Sky & Fence
Fantastic! My fav is the third of the latch.. It looks like a rather smallish angry alien.
Amazing how many different types of fences there are around the country... You selected some good ones this week, Carletta..Hugs,Betsy
Great gate and I love the rusty latch!
Lovely fence, but the texture of rust on the latch (and the angry alien, thanks judy.Gmj) are the bits which I like most.
i really like the 1st shot. such a different looking fence. (:
fencing at old cemeteries is some of the best....beautiful, love the one with the latch.
I love the closeups.
Cemetery fences are usually good ones. I especially like this one.
Very pretty & nice variety =)
These are excellent, Carletta!
Marvelous shots!
These are great photos.
I really like this wrought iron gate. Your macro of the latch is wonderful.
Love these old fences and gates and your perspective is spot on, Carletta! :)
Love macros of old functional pieces like this gate latch--turns it into almost a piece of art.
If I did not know better I would have thought these were taken at the small country cemetery (here in Missouri) were my family is buried. Great capture.
I like the rusty patches, especially on the fencepost!
Old cemetery fences are so interesting and unique.
Those are neat pictures.Do you know why cemeteries have fences around them? .... Because people are just dying to get in. :)
What beautiful captures of textures, tones and contrasts. The fence photos are so lovely.
Another great series Carletta!
I like very much the wrought iron!
