What a great quote from Sophia! I loved the fence photos...especially that last one. Looks like the vines are trying very hard to hide that fence!
Gorgeous photos of wire and wood fencing Carletta! The last one of the vines climbing up the fence is particularly nice. Thanks for your encouragement re championships- it really helps a lot.
the photos are perfectly gorgeous. that quote made me laugh!
I love these photos- but of course I would! :) Like the quote too!
I just love old wood! nice shots.
Those are some gnarly fence posts. Nice photos, nice effects, great quote.
Wonderful photos and the quote fits perfectly!
Great quote! :-) Love the photos!
HI Carletta, Great 'rural' pictures of your 'wire and wood'.... I laughed at Sophia's quote.... Guess she wanted to show off her beautiful body... Me???? I try to hide most of mine... ha ha Hugs,Betsy
Ha ha CarlettaHow brilliant is Sophia Loren?I think Sophia being photgraphed next to that fence may have considerably improved the "vista"!CheersColin (Brisbane. Australia)
love the processing. so neat. great fence. (:
Great shots...love the quote..so true
These are nice shots, Carletta. Those fence posts reminds me of a lot of old fences down home.
I love these photos. I almost posted a similar one today. Maybe next week. :)
such beauty in such a simple thing.I truly love the last one.. soon to be a home to a briar-rabbit I hope.
Wonderful images to see Carletta..
I love these shots. There's something fascinating about old fence posts and barbed wire.
Barbed wire and rough-hewn posts are very much like the fences in rural areas of Texas.
Love the quote and the fences.
The photos are wonderful. I especially like the last one.The quote is great.
I really like your photos -- and the quote.
Great quote and I love these old wood fence posts-
The wood is aged and yet still standing, could also see the lichens too.Wood and wire is a great combination.
Wonderful photos, Carletta! I love those wood posts! And the quote made me smile!
These are such neat images of old fence posts, Carletta. I wonder how long they have been there? The stories they could tell. Thank you so much for sharing at Rural Thursdays. I hope you come back again. :)
We have some of that around our place. Beautiful pictures.
Love the light you've captured in these photos and how so many fences are made of just what's available. And Sophia,of all people, could give advice about dressing to attact attention!
beautiful pictures and i enjoyed the quote too!
Barbed wire with rough posts are still the best!
What a wonderful fence! I love the natural posts - especially the one covered with vines. Honeysuckle maybe?
Made me smile and LOL..Thanks
That's a real snarl in the bottom picture - I knew a man once who collected barb wire believe it or not.
I love the Sophia quotegreat shots, they're all composed so beautifully
Old, weather-worn fences like these are my favorites.
What great photos! Rustic fences are my favorite. Barbed wire fences remind me of roses - pretty but watch out for the thorns!
Really well done...the quote tops it off!!!
