Hi dear friend
Well this is attempt #2. I guess some damn Leprechaun from Ulster got upset!
Today is almost over for "Paddys Day", but I saw a great sight today when I went to the Valley Precinct of Brisbane to get my morning papers and "Lotto" ticket ( one is allowed to dream of "hopeful loot"???).
The Valley precinct is not a nice part of Brisbane for those who may wish to visit. Anyhow turning a corner, I ran slap bang into two young men dressed as "leprechauns" right down to buckled boots - green from top to bottom, the tallest of top hats. I guess they sure were in the spirit of St. Paddy, even if they did startle me ! Yep, the beer was green at the local pub( bar) - tasted the same, thank you St.Paddy!
Cheers
Have a great day.
Colin ( Brisbane, Australia) - where for those interested in weather reports - IT IS RAINING!

Nice good luck,
I like the four-leaf clover especially good.
I had brought with me from Ireland a little leprechaun,
that are so sweet
Greetings Karin.
I hope you're having a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. With both a four-leaf clover and a leprechaun you should have a glorious day.
Beautiful photos.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Lucky lady! One of my grandmothers could find 4-leaf clovers almost at will! Hope your day was full of Irish Blessings!
Looks like the luck of the Irish is shining down on you with that little four leaf clover. I really like your leprechaun, he seems to be very involved in his book.
Have a great day!
The first shot is truly wonderful.
The flower shot is beautiful!
And your 'resident' looks happy. ;-)
Happy St. Patrick's day!

Lovely shots of the four leaf clover and your leprechaun is fun. I hope you had a happy St. Patrick's Day.
And the same to you. We took our first ever trip to Ireland a year ago and totally loved it. All that green....
that is a perfect clover--Happy ST. Patricks day to you as well.
WOW! You found it just in time! The clover isn't up here yet. :)
so this is what a four-leaf clover looks like. lovely shots.
What a lovely post Carletta, fun photos too.
oh, I love that leprechaun. What a nice one. :)
A four-leafed clover! How wonderful! You do indeed have the "luck of the Irish!" Love your leprechaun too, by the way!
I'm partial to the strong contrast of this day's leprechaun photo. And I'm curious to know what book he would be reading. I'm sure it's just a prop, but the imagination does like to roam... My first guess would be The Hobbit, but it would be cool if he were engrossed in a well-written historical fiction novel revolving around the life and times of Saint Patrick.
