The followers of Barn Charm know the excitement of finding the beauty in these old barns and we're always on the lookout. It seems fellow Barn Charm follower Dianna and I both found many of the same barns on a trip that we each took on separate occasions this past fall. She posted this same barn (here) but in snowy conditions due to an early snow storm. I believe my photo was taken a couple of weeks after hers. Mine is in the bright sunshine hubs and I experienced that day and is taken from a different angle. I like the low barn in the background on the right and the two short silos you see in the back on the left side. I hope another Barn Charm follower, Genie, enjoys seeing this view as she asked Dianna and I where it was so she could visit it when she was in the area. Of course I hope all of you enjoy it as well.
I was saddened to know Mary was ending Ruby Tuesday so it's nice to know it will continue with new hosts. Many thanks to them for their dedication to keeping that meme going.

Great barn for Barn Charm, Carletta. You all have so many fabulous barns there in West VA.

I think I have seen this one before. It's good to know Ruby Tuesday has a new host, I was sad to see Mary go!

Huge barn!
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby, have a great week.
A wonderful, large barn laden with such character and charm! Great perspective!
ReplyDeleteI also like the depth the small barn and the two silos are making to this picture.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Carletta, you have really been an eye-opener to me of the beauty of the barns. If only the rain and thick grey fog will disappear, I have four or five on "my plate."
This barn is classic in its simplicity, the peeling red paint and gambrel room. A functional beauty it has and that is its charm. I am guessing that it is in WV, and what is so nice about that setting is the hills and valley so show off how lovely the Mountaineer State is!
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see views from you and your blogging friend. Almost like two different seasons.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to take a road tour through your area- the scenery is great. Our barns around here are all weathered to the bone, and very few are painted.
ReplyDeletea gorgeous place! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful barn, Carletta, and so cool that the two of you took photos of the same barn. I am off to see the other one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! I loved seeing it in your picture and Genie's too!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful farm and barn!
ReplyDeleteNice to see the same barn under two different weather conditions. It really is a lovely barn, and I'll bet it is gorgeous with fall colors behind it.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. Great shot.
ReplyDeletewe don't have many traditional barns here.
ReplyDeleteWow, Carletta! Thanks for linking my "Christmas Barn" to your post today. It has been fun to see how we've posted pictures of the same barns on different days.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty. I like the silos too.
ReplyDeleteoh that's funny that you both have used the same barn...now i'll be waiting for genie's take on it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture. Happy RT!
ReplyDeleteMine's here.
That one looks like it could be found in Wisconsin somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI remember the snow shot from Dianna's blog, but I wouldn't have guessed it was the same barn... the different angle threw me! LoL! =)
ReplyDeleteThey're both great shots & I think that white fence really adds to the scene!
Thanks so much for joining, Carletta! =)
It's a neat barn in a lovely setting, Carletta!
ReplyDeleteNice colors! Interesting silo attached to the barn.
ReplyDeleteLove this barn -- and the silo is perfect. :)

ReplyDeleteCarletta that is a charming barn and silos always up the charm factor! That is interesting about you and Dianna taking shots of the same barn. I am going to have to check that out :) I have no idea why, but Wordpress behaved badly and shot your comments into spam. I will be fixing that in just a few minutes. Thank you for coming by and commenting!
