While wandering in the forest.....

....a little boy encounters the friendly ogre named Shrek.  It was a day spent playing hide and seek among the giant trees....

    Well, that would be a surprise to find Shrek in the woods! We do have a farm of miniature donkeys nearby, however. ;-)

    Before this winter is over we are going to have to get together somewhere between you in WVA and me in VA....We are planning another trip to WVA in the near future...want to go to the other parks we missed. Also want to look for cabins over there. If you ever get this way, be sure to go to Williamsville. It is stuck in time....adorable. Last year a teacher pal of mine at my school buried 5 family members in the cemetery. People have moved away but they go back there to be buried. That says a lot for the little town. Happy first birthday to the grand baby. My youngest is now 6. They range from 6 to 20. genie

    I like this billboard. Of course, the character Shrek is a favorite around this house too. And.......a belated happy birthday to your grandchild. A first birthday. LOVE the photo share.

    I love this! Haven't seen this ad campaign, but it is a great one. This and your post below both make me miss my great-grandsons -- we had so much fun hiking with them in the "forest" last summer.
