A little macro work.
Although I strive to get my photos right in the camera as I'm taking them I have also really been enjoying working with adding textures to my photos. I like how the texture in this gave it a more old fashioned look.
I'm posting for Today's Flowers.

Beautiful shot Carletta, the macro of the edges is very well done. My favorite is the last photo, I like the softness of the entire shot.
i like "on the fringes". it's like being caressed by these soft petals.:p

I am loving your daffodils, Carletta! Your macro and texture effects are great...I hope you enjoy every moment of the spring season!!!
your photos are beautiful!! The last on looks like a painting. And the combination of blue and yellow is lovely!!
Great picture Carletta, looks like a painting!!
Beautiful photos. Macros are perfect.
great photos. the last one can be a beautiful wall art for it is like a painting
I hope you could visit my entry
The bottom one looks like a painting - lovely effect.
On the Fringes is very reminiscent of O'Keefe to me...neat perspective!
I love the final edit. It looks like watercolor pastels!
I can never get enough of daffodils and you photographed these so well.
Lovely! I have a yard full of Daffodils I should go play with!
You can never get tired of daffodils! Its a sure sign of spring arrived! I like the texture too. I use them as well and love the added depth and drama they add to photos!
These are wonderful. I'm going to go out on a limb here...that jar looks green to me. Excellent as usual :)
Beautiful shots. I love daffodils and jonquils. They are such a bright spot of hope after a dreary winter.
Just as a I said on your yesterday's post!!! I'm catching up as we were gone all last week. Thank you for the daffodills, which I miss -- we get no spring flowers here in sunny Florida. (As I may have said before a million times or so.)
Again I like the altered version best, but I love those 'fringe' shots best of all!
