If you've visited my photoblog you've seen my green dragonfly that sat still more willingly for his portrait. Mr. Blue was rather flighty and as a result his moment of fame is a little blurrier capture.
The focus fell more on the left side of his wings. I hope you'll enlarge the image to see the lacy pattern. Nature is indeed truly beautiful in the smallest of details.

OMG those wings are just beautiful. This is gorgeous. But I think I like Mr. Green a little better :) However, they both are stunning. I sent you an email my friend on Brenda's Photo Challenge :) Have a wonderful day
Absolutely amazing!
he might be a little blurry--but he still looks great
It's so beautiful in blue! The blurry wing lines are barely noticeable...
he looks clear to me! and pretty as can be, too! I can never catch them! BTW, you were one of the Wednesday Wizards over at GrammyMouseTails last week! Please stop over and you can collect the Winning Wizard badge and try to guess this weeks puzzler as well. WW post will be posted closer to midnite! thanks again for playing :) Faythe @GMT

I love dragonflies and this one is particlarly lovely. I did enlarge it, but you can actually see the lacy wings fairly well in the smaller format. Great picture.
This is absolutely marvelous. Very well done.
pale color dragon fly again the pale leaf. Good capture.
Glorious lacy patterns on the wings! Love the blending of soft tones of dragonfly and leaf!
He's beautiful!
There's so much wonder out there-all we need do is look around us!
Nature is truly amazing, I agree! Neat photo!
his moment of fame is exquisite!!
Such a beautiful delicate design on those wings - lovely capture anyway Carletta
At least you captured him! Pretty good capture at that. I do wonder why some are more willing to pose than others...
Oh, my. Isn't he something! Lovely capture, Carletta.
I love the contrast of the blue dragonfly against the green leaves. So beautiful!
