Project Black:The Final Take

"...and now it's time to say goodbye..."

....to Project Black it seems. Last night Anna posted her final shot and has said goodbye to Project Black. I had been holding on to this image for my final post. It is of a coffee cup my son Chris brought me back from Disney World a few years ago after doing an internship there while he was in college.

I do still have a few unposted shots I've taken this past week in my search for black that I will continue to post with other 'blog fodder' over the next few days. As always this has been a fun project to participate in and I have enjoyed everyone's posts. Many thanks to new and old friends for the many wonderful comments you have left here. I appreciate all of you.

M- I-C- see you in September, K-E-Y- why, because that's when the next project begins.
Well, yes, of course I'll be posting daily so you all come back whenever you can - I just had to throw that line in somehow!

Project Black was hosted by Anna of Anna Carson Photography.

  1. Well, I heard it first from you, so I had to race back and rewrite my text a bit. Nice Mickey shot and I love they way you have sung yourself out of Project Black. See you real soon... Why? Because we like you! (Isn't that how it goes?)

  4. We are a pair! I have been saving a final image and did a good-bye post, too. Mine doesn't involve singing and dancing, but it does have a couple of other similarities.

This is a great mug, I can see why you saved this shot for last. God music, too.

  5. This is a very cool shot... really like it. The black background works well and the contagious tilt is perfect :-)

I'm kinda sorry to see the Project end, but all good things do. Your shots from yesterday are terrific, too!

  8. The song impressed me most as I recalled those days in front of the old black and white picture tube on our metal cased Motorola T.V. (also black) with the rabbit ears antenna. The photo matched well. Only two channels available where we lived at the time. No problem though - Dad controlled all the viewing time and we were limited. Pappy
