Project Green: Take Eight

Because Friday Was Shopping Day

Last Friday morning I was at the local Wal-mart picking up a few needed essentials. Sitting in the nearby strip shopping center were these carts and they were green! So I asked myself, what was one more stop in my busy day? I pulled out my camera, took a couple quick pics, hopped back in the Jeep, and off I went. Another Project Green photo was in the camera ready for downloading. It was only later I wondered about those cameras on the side of the building. I didn't see myself on the evening news under "Have You Seen This Woman" so I guess nobody noticed. And, I still can't believe I found the little song lyric that you hear playing. It sure fits the photo though. Enjoy!

    Shopping Carts are not my friends. They fill up with things I don't need, and cost me too much money. However, they do make a lovely and symmetrical photograph.

    Oh one of my favorite stores!! Love those green carts. It is the store I take my grandkids to. Lots of fun for them to have a whole store, without limitations, to narrow down to 5 items they really want. LOL!! It looks even more impressive if you make them carry a hand cart!

    Day 8? Where have I been? Lost? Girl, all of them are wonderful! I laughed at the thought of the security guys coming out to arrest you and you just trying to explain Project Green LOL LOL

    Can't get any greener than that! And I admire you for being able to handle the chaos that is every Walmart I've ever been in. I avoid them like the plague! And I also admire you for being able to remember to take your camera. I never seem to!

    Shopping carts have got to be one of the most recognizable things in America - either wire or plastic, they are so commonplace they are nearly iconic. Nice job!

    Good eye Carletta! I like the Walmart store - just picked up a new bike there. They put some of our own Canadian stores to shame with their great customer service.

    This is a good shot for Project Green.
    I've asked permission to take photos at some places and have been told no. One was of shopping carts. Looks to me like it's good advertising for them.

    The funny thing is the cart I did several days ago was from Dollar Tree....great shot!
