I also have certain smells that remind me of home and/or of my parents... Isn't it great to have these memories?

That old bell is special... I'm glad you can still 'feel' your Daddy when you go home... That was nice of your stepfather to hang the old bell again...

Great post...
Hugs,
BetsyBetsy Banks Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223591156634767330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8651794525042598507.post-40677278309263607162010-07-14T21:16:46.167-04:002010-07-14T21:16:46.167-04:00Memories...you brought some out for me. Mama rang the cow bell to tell us to come home, either to eat or just because she wanted us home. It could be heard all over the sub-division and we were the only ones that were called home that way so everybody knew we were headed home then.Leedrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04914177127665868671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8651794525042598507.post-14065125000681183862010-07-14T20:51:26.569-04:002010-07-14T20:51:26.569-04:00What a touching post my friend.
