Wild Birds

A House Finch grabbing seeds from the feeder.

A Turkey Vulture that we surprised as we came around a turn in the road on Sunday. This was a quick shot through the windshield so it isn't clear but I do like all the greenery surrounding this big guy.

    Nice catch with the turkey vulture - you're a quick draw with the camera! The little house finch is very cute, too!

    Contrasting birds -- sweet and tiny and ? and large ;>)....he actually looks kinda' handsome surrounded with the green.

    Sweet little house finch. You know, I don't think I've ever seen a vulture sitting in a tree. Great capture!

    For me , I'm surprised to see this guy in a tree. Maybe it's because where we have turkey vultures there are no trees.

    What a cute finch...I must say the vulture is not too cute but glad you got a shot of him...

    We have a lot of vultures that roost in some cottonwoods not to far from us. They are fascinating creatures.

    Looks like that vulture ie weighing down the branch, the whole makes for a grey composition. Great drive by shot.
