Bubble Skies

Part of the time I was away from blogland Hubby and I visited all three grandchildren. While at our daugher's home to celebrate the youngest one's forth birthday we played with bubbles. This first shot is using the standard bubble mixture with a large wand. The wind blew constantly and I thought I wasn't getting much in the way of photos until I downloaded them. The reflected surroundings were more than I had hoped for.
We gave the girls each a bottle of the new colored bubbles. The rest of the shots are using those. I will definitely try this again. Be warned however that colored bubbles are very messy and may stain. We had a bottle of pink and a bottle of purple. The purple produced the best effects and were also the best for blowing bubbles. Lily and Lucy hope you enjoy their masterpieces!

  30. Great photos Carletta, sweet ones of the children. Those bubbles are also amazing. We bought our great-niece a bottle of them as part of her 2nd birthday gift. We didn't stay long enough to see her play with them though. We left for home that evening. The reflections in those photos of yours are lovely.
