I don't think these images need many words. As we drive along one of the ridges minutes from our home this is the view we can look down and see. These were taken in mid-October. I'm still trying to finish up posting fall foliage shots because my world is all brown and bare now!
Do click and enlarge the last two for a much better view.

nice fit for both memes. :)
I like that second pic best. There's something about the contrasts in focus and color that gives it an exceptional artistic flair.
Nice shots and I enjoyed the perspectives.
What a GREAT Series of shots!
Neat shots! I especially like the second one, pretty colors and blurry background. My world is pretty much brown and bare, too - it's fun to see a little fall color!
You had fun with a little piece of barbed wire. the barbed wire shows off your photos.
Carletta, these are lovely images. you have a beautiful view of the river. Thanks for sharing, have a great evening.
Killing two birds with one stone...this scene is so familiar to me....brings good thoughts.
Lovely view through the fence. I really like the second one with the post.
I really like the way you've put this photo sequence together. It's very well done and the scenery is beautiful.
gorgeous shots. love the close-ups of the fence. neat!! ( :
I liked the progressive sequence. Nicely done!
Ohhh weee, that's beautiful, Carletta! What a view & what a drop off, too! =0
It's all brown & bare here, now, too... I already miss color! =)
Thank ya Thank ya for joining =)
Hello Carletta
Nice pictures you show - I really like them.
Thank you for your comment on my squirrel.
Looked just on the net and found this:
At ears are tufts of hair most of the year. Individual strand during the autumn and harvested next spring. In summer ears so without tufts of hair.

I'll join several of the other commenters with a "favorite" vote for photo 2. Like these progressive shots very much. I'm calling a halt to fall foliage too at the end of this month. Oh, yes forgot to say--love the blue mirrored look of the water.
I love your images. You have a wonderful style. I also love your mood.. always in blue jeans!
Nice shots Carletta. My world is also turning brown!
Loved seeing these, Carletta!
The river is lovely!
Hi Carletta, What a super set of Photos, love the way how you started just with the wire and opened out to the full shot.
Many thanks for your visit and kind comments, I am - if you dont mind, add your blog to my list and follow you and your Photography.
Nice close-up of the barb!
Love that second one with the hints of colourful trees in the background :)
Beautiful photo's. I love barbed wire too!
I like what you have done Carletta. Very cool.
Brown , bare, and a bit of snow here, but a warmup coming. Yay, I can decorate outside and not freeze my hands.
Fantastic! I like all the different views.
Pretty view!
lol...you made me burst out laughing out loud with Jurassic Park!!! Thanks for making my day!!! (and that was a house...and no barn...and it was odd)
pretty views!! pretty bare here too now!
Very nice Bokeh on all of them!
Great series of photos. Two memes well done & love your turkeys in previous post...
Love the focus on the wire - so nicely done! And I've been wanting to tell you that I love your header quote! I get it.

That barbed wire brings back childhood memories. When I was a kid we used to put up posts and string the wire to make a fence. I can remember getting scratched up doing that.
Fine use of the barbed wire as a foreground element in these river shots.
first two shots are great!
the second one is my favorite!
Great post...you got two birds with one stone. Love the macro shots. They are really cool. I am back. LR class is over, my back's been acting up, and the trip to MD over TGiving took its toll. I just shut the computer down for a bit, but all is fine. I pass that barn everyday driving home from school in the afternoons. It is just past the Fairfield rest stop. This day Buddy was driving and I made him slow down. Cannot believe they came out as well as they did. The pond that I ddi not get is beautiful and now has a new dock with little seats on the sides. They must stock it. Hope all is well. Do you think we are ever going to really have winter????genie
Calling by as another participant in the Friday Fences meme, you are right no words needed.
It would be hard not to take too many fall shots in that Autumn Paradise where you live. These are lovely.
