Shadow Shots

Doesn't it look like a little mouse is sniffing the daffodil?
Love how the shadow elongated the jar!
This was taken outside on the deck. The patio table is in the corner which was in shadow and the evening sun shown on the bouquet of daffodils. I know the light is harsh but I like the bold contrast.
A sunny yellow daffodil!

Oh Carletta!
No way with the vivid imagination I can sometimes conjure up, can I see a "mouse"!
However, you and my mother would just get on fine. She only grows "yellow daffodils"! A couple of visits ago to YOUNG, NSW, where she now lives, I suggested that she has different varieties, aka, the ones that grow in the gardens of "Fairfield Glade,
Crossville, TN. Even took her to the library to show her the blog concerned ( Betsy's and George's gardens)!
Only yellow daffidols are to be grown at her place. No way - other colours in her garden plots.
In YOUNG, at the garden shop for plants, they had the various colours. I was tempted to buy some bulbs and plant them amongst the "yellow bulbs" ( which on visits, I have to clean and cut back! - under watchful eyes of "she" who commands and must be obeyed - Mother is now 90!)
Delightful blog of your YELLOW daffodils, but I sure can't see any little mousey!

PS: weather report. No rain today in Brisbane - a miracle!

Once you said "mouse" I could see it. Beautiful shots...isn't is amazing what people see? Photographers are the most interesting people - we see life so differently from others, I think, because we always wonder what that will look like through the lens of the camera!

Hi Carletta, I'm afraid I can't see the mouse either, but I love the yellow daffs and the 3rd pic with strong contrast is fab!

I can see the mouse on the wall sniffing the daffodil but I can't say what the elongated jar reminds me of, its a bit naughty. The bright daffodils in the sun are gorgeous.

I even hear the 'squeak'! Flowers in a Ball jar are just as pretty as in the ground. Spring offers us new flora, from bulb to flower, we await their return under the warmer sun. Very artistic views!

the shadows are beautiful but the light on the flowers is really nice !

Rather than a mouse, I thought the shape looked like a duckling sniffing the daffodils! (Do ducklings sniff?)
Anyways, the daffodils glow with beautiful gold and shadow patterns!

I like your colorful daffodils, but the shadows are very neat as well. And, yes, it does look a mouse shadow is enjoying the flowers as well.

I don't see the mouse, but I do love the shadows the beautiful flowers are creating on the wall. As well as the soft shadows inside the flowers themselves in the last two shots.
Happy Sunday!!

These are fine shots of the flowers. I like the image of the mouse - very cute. The brilliance of the bottom pictures in the bright sunlight look very good too. Altogether a fine post!
