MACRO
I happened to find this bloom on one of my Weigela bushes this week. There were maybe three blooms on an otherwise bare bush. The bush blooms full and beautiful in the spring so this was quite a little surprise.
TEXTURE
I captured this little squirrel on the oak tree outside my window. His soft furry tail is quite a contrast with the rough texture of the bark.
HOME
Welcome! Come on in and sit a spell! Heidi won't be greeting you though. She is very shy and will be hiding in the closet as soon as the doorbell rings.
COVER
The words I chose to quote on this image are from a song I used to sing many years ago at 4-H camp. Everytime I see blue skies I think of 'there's a blue sky way up yonder that's a cover for my head.'
TREE
Every fall I make a point to drive by this tree. It stands alongside a country road among little rolling hills. All the different colors of leaves on the one tree is breathtaking.(I think blogger will let you click and see the last four enlarged. I think it is worth doing so.)
Posted for Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
