This is a glass bulb hanging in my Mom's flower bed. I loved the blue color and took the photo for an entirely different meme. However, when I downloaded the shot I saw the reflection. Looking closely you can see the steps to my Mom's front door, some plants, the highway, and the house across the street. What really got my attention was the way the colors of the glass and the sun working together made it look like an Aurora Borealis was on display in the sky above the neighbor's house.
very pretty and maybe a little magical.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, Carletta! Love the rich, blue color and delightful reflections! Hope you've had a good week and had an even better weekend!

ReplyDeleteAmazing what the camera can capture.
ReplyDeleteVery orginal place to get reflection... I love it !
ReplyDeleteWhen enlarged it does look a lot like the Aurora Borelis. I love that little glass bulb.
ReplyDeleteI like the bulb and it's reflections. I think the copper is great!
ReplyDeleteBesides its rainbow reflection, I really love the bulb, very artistic!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I just love the garden ornament - the shape, the color, everything about it!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, the reflection is gorgeous, especially the "Northern lights"!
When I lived in Northern Sask. my kids and I used to go out to the local school yard field, lay down in the middle and most dark spot and watch the Northern Lights. It is the one thing I miss most about our days there. I miss the Aurora Borealis. Your photo brings back those memories of my kids and I in the middle of the night laying down on the grass to watch a celestial movie!
ReplyDeleteThe globe sure is a beauty!
