1.Bring Me Flowers
This is my little Granddaughter Lily showing me the bouquet of Azalea and Fleabane I let her have. She LOVES to pick flowers so she has to be taught what to pick and what to leave alone. She picks them and anxiously runs to give them away.
2. Visual Contrast
I chose to show visual contrast between natural/man-made. The wooden barrel, the ironwork and the wooden siding give lots of texture with the plant and I almost think it's too much but the image is slowly growing on me.3. Friendship
This is the dangling part of a metal bookmark that my friend Doris made for me and sent to me on my birthday after I moved 500 miles away. Her friendship is very dear to me and I hope she knows just how much she means to me.4. Before and After
Fiddlehead Ferns
5.Dark
The photo is from my archives of the supermoon. I added the quote for the scavenger hunt prompt of dark.
Posted for Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Great examples of each of the items but Lucy's bouquet is my favorite, that ia a precious photo.
ReplyDeletefantastic set of photos for the challenge. Love the close up of the fiddle heads
ReplyDeleteSuch great shots. Your flower shot is so sweet.. and I love your dark shot Perfect for this prompt..
ReplyDeleteLove the bouquet for you.
ReplyDeleteThat super moon shot...it's just superb. I can't even get over it. I loved your entire post that day!
ReplyDeleteLovely captures as always! You might teach your Lily to "pet" the flowers rather than pick them...it worked with Wyatt. Only now, we have to pet every single flower we come across.
Wonderful photos all! That is quite the challenge meme.
ReplyDeleteThe bring me flowers shot is so so sweet - love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat cut flowers! That dark/moon shot its great, I love our night sky!
ReplyDeleteCUTE* FLOWERS ;]
ReplyDeleteOPPS!
ohhh -ahhhh! I love the ferns and your amazing moon capture ;D
ReplyDeleteahh that little bouquet is so sweet, your fern before and after is great and I love that supermoon and the branches reflection with the quote.
ReplyDeleteWonderful interpretations this week. I love the moon shot with the text, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteKimberley
Wonderful! I really love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove all of these! Nice thoughts and music, too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! Love the little hand holding the bouquet of flowers! The bookmark is beautiful! And your dark photo with the quote is great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
Aww I love the flowers shot and the little hand! Sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine Lorelei in a year or two picking flowers...love the bookmark hangy-down thing. My best friend still is in Tennessee...approx 400 miles away...so not quite as far as 500...but still a day's drive.
ReplyDeleteI can't choose a favorite because they're all great photos! Lily's fistful of flowers jumped off of the screen! The fiddlehead ferns are a perfect choice for before and after shots. I keep going back to look at the detail on Visual Contrast!
ReplyDeleteYour super moon shot is so much better than any I captured. My dumb luck was not with me that night.
ReplyDeleteSome day I must play this Scavenger Hunt theme.
