Remembering Summer

As there are no flowers peeking through the recent five inches of snow on the ground I will take you back to August when my Rose of Sharon bushes were still producing some buds. Don't miss those three little ants crawling along the furled petals.

    I think I would be willing to put up with the ants just to get rid of the snow! This is a beautiful macro -- ants and all.

    Thanks for the reminder that there are other seasons... We've been lucky here. Snow, but not too much. Too much cold, though. Ugh. Hope all is well with you. Love the reflections below. Beautiful... That tunnel (sorry three coments in one) really is a strange looking structure.

    Beautiful bud. I used to visit a Rose of Sharon bush often in Hawaii. They are lovely flowers.
