This is a photo of blue berries that are currently on a tree in my yard. I didn't even know I had such a tree until a couple of weeks ago. While walking the property line I glanced up into the branches and noticed the berries. I'm not sure what kind of tree it is. My neighbor pulled in his driveway while I was taking pictures but he didn't know either. It doesn't matter really. At the present time it has colorful leaves, blue berries and it's mine!!For more Midweek Blues join Rebecca here.
This is a beautiful, colorful macro. What a wonderful capture. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteHi Carletta, WELL----BLUE is BLUE.... Right???? It doesn't matter if they are the 'official' Blueberries... They are BLUE BERRIES..... Great picture --and great for Midweek Blues.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Beautiful my friend. I love blueberries. :). The colors in this are fantastic. :)
ReplyDeleteBlueberries...good for the brain! And a very colorful pic!
ReplyDeleteMy midweek blues is a watercolor
- enjoy:)
I have seen the berries around my area too and do not know what they are either. The foliage is very pretty thought.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the linky problem. I added your post for you.
I love bluberries and I love this photo!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous fall foliage picture, 'up close.' I hope you cut one of those berries open and peeked inside.
ReplyDeleteThey may not be berries. We had small wild plums growing in our secluded areas of the hilly Eastern Nebraska groves.
Mom made the best of jellies and preserves from them. In the summer they would go through red and orange and finally end up a purplish blue.
..
What a beautiful combination of fall and fruit!
ReplyDeleteI've seen orange, red, white and now blue berries all in one morning. Lovely shot.
ReplyDeletebeautiful color
ReplyDeleteI love your composition :)
That's so nice. I actually planted a blueberry tree (bush?) last spring but it died. I have a horrible green thumb!
ReplyDeleteI haven't a clue as to what those interesting berries are! But you are right that it really doesn't matter. I can enjoy them without knowing their name. :)
ReplyDeleteThe shape of the berries look much like my dogwood tree's berries (except mine are red) The leaves are also very similar in color right now, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey look like the blueberies that grow in Oregon. Have you tasted them? (Do you dare?)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I don't know if their edible, though!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what kind of tree that is. The leaves kind of look like a wild cherry.
ReplyDeleteAre they the edible kind? Love blue berries. Alas, they are very expensive down under. It costs us a fortune to buy a little punnet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carletta for the kind feedback left in my floral memes. My apology for being away so long. Needless I do appreciate your visit. (^_^)
You are so right, it really doesn't matter what kind of blue berries these might be. By any name they, and their foliage, are beautiful. That is a great macro shot too.
ReplyDeleteI admit I have missed visiting your blog and looking at your amazing photos! My visits are few and far between but I still love coming here to see what you have seen thru your camera lense. I love your reflective shots are my favorites. Some more so than others. Rather than comment on each one, I thought I'd just leave a comment here. Enjoy your music while visiting also.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do make for a pretty image!
ReplyDeleteAnd I bet the birds love them!
