This past Monday the sky was trying so hard to peek out from behind the clouds. Hubs and I had been gone all day and when we arrived home I noticed all the melted puddles of snow in the driveway. The first shot above is looking in a puddle on the sidewalk with the nearby woods reflected and a hint of light blue sky. The second shot is the sun and sky reflected in a puddle on the driveway. You can see a full shot of the sky on my photoblog here.
These are really neat shots, Carletta!

ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections in the puddle. The first shot is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe bare tree branches and the sky in the puddle are lovely reflection photos that. Me too, I am always looking for reflections in puddles.
ReplyDeleteThose are neat shots. I don't know why reflections always sort of fascinate me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures Carletta, it looks like we were both watching puddles this past week. I really like the monochrome look of the first one and the beautiful touch of blue sky in the second.
ReplyDeleteNice ones! I especially like the first one. I think maybe you have a dirt driveway...:)
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the reflection reminds me that of a mother of pearl shell!
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous!
Great captures. I love both.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend
I'm always looking for reflections in puddles. I'm not sure what other people think when they see you photograph a puddle though? Personally I would think they're doing a Weekend Reflections! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou did not have to go far to find a pretty reflection. Right at the door the sky at your feet. I Like the pencilled trees in the puddle.
ReplyDeleteVery creative, Carletta.
ReplyDeleteTook me a few minutes to get the second one, but it's lovely.
So your snow is melting- are you sad?
Great captures, Carletta! The reflections are so clear! Thanks for visiting me! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful crisp reflections in these melted snow puddles ... methinks the second is my fave today. Like you, I find myself looking down after rain for similar views with my camera.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
You did a great job of capturing the reflection of the sky in those photos. I've never seen such pretty puddles!
ReplyDeleteThese are great reflections! I really like the branches showing through in the first one.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first one :)
ReplyDeleteIt might indeed take a while until the beauty will be seen that hids beneath the white of snow - glad that you had the patience to wait and take the pictures.
ReplyDeletePlease have a wonderful Sunday you all.
Lovely -- what a wonderful way to look up while looking down!
ReplyDeleteVery creative shots - Really love the 1st one. You have a way of even making puddles look great.
