This was a much closer shot and when I downloaded the photos of that day I was totally surprised. It looks like I was looking through glass. It reminds me of looking through a glass shower door, you know, the kind that you can never seem to get clean. :)For more Weekend Reflections join James here.

Here's a quote for you: "If you go to some distant hill and look out across the expanse and see the play of light on the fields or hills, and see the patterns of grasses or the glisten of the backlit road that cuts to the horizon, you are seeing in black and white." Richard Olsenius in "National Geographic Field Guide -- Digital Black and White with film techniques explained." Hefty title and a good little book. I borrowed it from the public library.
Both pictures are nice, but that second one is great. The pattern in the water is quite a scene.
