A little stack of snowflakes. These are very similar to the shape of the first ones I took a couple of weeks ago.
The second photo shows some very different shapes. I know last time I mentioned that I thought they looked like rhinestone jewelry. The snowflake to the far right in the bottom photo definitely looks like a rhinestone brooch to me.

These are just wonderful. You are so right about the one on the right. It's just awesome. :) Well done my friend. :)
ReplyDeleteNot easy to capture the delicacy of snowflakes Carletta. You have to work quickly. I'm supposing because I've never attempted macros of snowflakes. Nice job.
ReplyDeletethese are so beautiful! they definitely look like little pieces of jewelry! Nice macros indeed!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I am so glad you got your shots. The only snow I've seen this winter was slushy and wet as it fell.

I agree about the snowflake to the right of the last shot - it DOES look like a pin. Glorious shapes and no two alike.
ReplyDeleteThe little one on the right is an unusual shape, it does look like one of the rhinestone brooches we used to see. Great photos Carletta.

I'm always amazed by such wonderful shots of snowflakes!
ReplyDeleteI haven't looked at a snowflake that close up since 1st grade. And that was a long time ago. Makes me want to find my magnifying glass and some snow.
ReplyDeleteI am loving these pictures.
What kind of lens are you using?
How beautiful is that! I have never seen such clear snowflakes ever!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot!! Wish I could get that kind of shot too. Happy Monday!
