  4. Beautiful reds and oranges you found in this cherry slush. I like the angle and depth you captured with the straw.

I just read your comment on my blog. What are you doing blogging at 1:49 AM? Eeek.

    Happy Ruby Tuesday Carletta!

  17. This looks like a warm weather treat, not just thirst quenching, but an attractive treat as well. Cherries qualify as rubies, but we may be left with this quandary: Do we take care of our thirst or qualify this drink as a work of art and just admire it??

  21. Looks good! I forgot it was Tuesday.... People are hammering and pounding and doing strange things to my house. Making great progress, though.

  24. This is tooooo funny! Somehow my blog ended up on Webdings font -- which on my computer shows letters - and apparently on all my other readers today... except you. You must have been seeing "dings"... I'm SOOOOOO sorry! I did change the font... so if you want to come read my insignificant post, you may! Please don't feel obligated though! LOL!

  31. Hi Carletta, this is a neat drink. We have bunches of Sonic's around here, guess I'll have to try one.

I like your poem. Right away it reminded me that next Sunday at One Single Impression the group is writing poems using the prompt word, THIRST. I have been working on mine, we start putting them up on Sunday of the week.

This week the prompt word was ROMANCE. Mine is on my Little Photo and Poem Place blog. There is a link at the bottom to the OSI group. About 45 have signed in with poems on the Mrs. Linky. Several, including me, haven't written too many poems before.
    You would be welcome.
